BF engage communities and their local leaders in an effort to allow them identify and set their development priorities and ensuring that they are implemented in an environment that holds stake holders accountable.
1.Enhancing rural Women’s involvement in influencing political processes and determining policy outcomes
2.Improving community participation in setting and realizing the priorities set out in the Local Government Act in ensuring effective basic services delivery.
3. Community awareness raising on the detail of the Local Government Act
4. Training marginalized communities especially women and people with disabilities in monitoring local authorities’ actions
5. Strengthening women capacity to play an important role in local governance practices.
